Minion Cake by Anita

Thanks to Leah Larson's youtube video I was able to create this cute little minion for my grandsons second birthday.  He just loved it.  I followed Leah's video to a tee other than I used 8" rounds, as I needed a bigger cake. I also used buttercream icing instead of whipped cream. Thank you Leah! My minion was a big hit!

Another Great Job Anita, thanks again for sharing your work with all of us !! Liz

The Tricky Part Is all the Straight Lines and Angles. The Ladders wheels, and Window Details are Made of Candy Melt. The rest is Figure Piped.

Wisteria Cake and Wooden Cake Platter Video

I Collaborated with Carl from Woodshop.tv to make this Cake Stand. I then had to come up with a cake design that didn't overtake the cake plate but complimented it. I like the whimsy of the Wisteria with the woodsy of the cake stand.

Veggie Basket in Scultped Buttercream- by Leah

Leah created this masterpiece for a client that brought her a photo of a similar cake in Fondant. Leah Sculpted each of these vegetables in Buttercream as well as used piping techniques for the Lettuce and the Broccoli. The Client was thrilled. The Cake was for a man who only eats vegetables, his wife decided that everyone else would want cake and so had a "Vegetable" cake made for him :)
