Tulip Bouquet- Buttercream- Cake Decorating- video

Tulips are a difficult flower in Buttercream. This project took some figuring out. The Petals are made with a # 402 Mum tip , still available through Wilton.com. The flowers are built on  a short straw and a mini marshmallow.

This Arrangement has roughly 40 flowers. It takes time and some thought for placement, but the effect proves worth it. See the tutorial here:

White Chocolate Mum Cake- Cake Decorating- Video

I Saw this flower in a florist shop and just had to figure out a way to make it for a cake.
I went through 4 generations before I finally got what I wanted.

I found that the biggest struggle was to make the petals irregular. It's such a habit to make things even that I had to really  try to make them uneven. But it really needs to be.

Mounting this flower on the side proved to be a bit more challenging. But all in all this is a very easy and quick flower after just a little practice.

This is the third generation of this flower, it was still to even at this point. I also added some yellow in the center.

Cake Pop Snow Men- Cake Decorating - Video

Cake Pop Snowmen are a fun afternoon project. The Cake Pop Dough is so simple and yummy, made with any kind of cake marshmallow and chocolate. It turns in to a delicious dough the consistency of play dough. It really holds it's shape!
The accessories are also candy melt. Easy for kids to make as they are just dots for eyes and buttons and a carrot shape for the nose. The scarf is strips of sour gummy candy.

See three little boys have fun making these adorable snowmen:
