Pansies- How to Make In Butter Cream- Cake Decorating Video

Pansies are an unexpected surprise on any cake. People just don't expect these sweet flowers in Butter Cream. They actually are quite easy to pipe on if you have the basic skill of a 5 petal flower. If not, this one is still fairly easy to learn. They can be made in so many colors that they are extremely versatile. See the whole video here:

Stormfly "How To Train Your Dragon" In Butter Cream and Candy Melt- Video

Stormfly was a difficult design to plan out. In the end the construction of the Dragon is quite simple. Making her appear to creep over the edge of the cake takes a little caution but is also not difficult. Come along with me in this shortened version of the " How to Train Your Dragon " Cake Video, as I show you exactly how to make the Dragon part of this Design:

How To Train Your Dragon Cake- Photos and Video

Stormfly, from the How to Train Your Dragon Series, was actually quite difficult for me to figure out how to create. The cake is intended to look like the Dragon's Nest with different colored wings and ice around the base.

I originally pictured more wings and in fact made many more pairs that I didn't use. They as well as the ice are made from cany melts.

I wanted the dragon to appear that it is peering over the side of the nest. I had to figure out how to secure the the weight of the head. I ended up using a giant marshmallow for the base of the head attached to a skewer.

The overall effect was quite dramatic! These huge looming wings really added to this effect!

Cupcake Barbie Doll Cake- How To - Cake Decorating

Cupcake Barbie is the Simplest and Quickest of Barbie Cakes. She's perfect for a beginner or a more experienced decorator in need of a quick and pretty cake.

Though Quick and Easy, no one would every guess you can make this in less than 15 minutes. In fact you don't even have to bake. Store bought cupcakes even pre- iced would work fine for this cupcake beauty!

I love the way the back of this "cake" looks like a flower! So Pretty!

Giant Buttercream Rose Wedding Cake Topper- Cake Decorating

The Giant Roses on this Wedding Cake Topper are made with Buttercream ( well actually Pastry Pride Whip Topping) and on a marshmallow on a Skewer. I used a # 127 Rose Tip. They are super stable as well as light weight. Perfect for the top of a wedding cake or just for a really pretty romantic cake.
