Sweet Bird Cage Cake in Butter Cream By Leah


This is an 8 inch, 4 layers (split in half) cake.  Rounded at the top- like the minion- iced in white buttercream.  I created the sky looking background by airbrushing and then smoothed over the icing again with the bench knife.  I then piped the cage part with fudge.  The birds are figure piped and smoothed with the handy dandy parfait strip (or ziplock bag) and the iced the flowers and leaves around.  Very  Sweet!
